Today we’d like to introduce you to Christine Gangi.
Hi Christine, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Becoming a realtor was always a dream of mine after I got out of High School. I was told that the test was super hard and that it wouldn’t be an easy career, so I talked myself out of it. After buying my first house in 2021 I went through the process without a realtor. I didn’t realize how helpful they could be and just though that the sales agent in the new construction community would be there to help me. I was very wrong. In October of 2021 I decided to sign up to take my pre-licensing course for real estate. I didn’t expect to fall in love with the career that I did but it honestly has been the best.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road with real estate at all. When I first got my license, I jumped right onto a team without interviewing different agencies. I didn’t really know that I could do interviews and see where I would fit best. After being with that team for a little while I decided that it was not the right fit and joined a well-known team. I thought that would help my career but again it wasn’t easy sailing. The Broker at the time did team me some things but it just didn’t really fit still. People would give me a harder time because of whose team I was on and it just wasn’t fair to me. After a while of staying there I went to another team that was 100% cloud based and was working on my own. I thought it would be best because then it was just me and I could do stuff how I wanted. Well, that was all great and all but I just didn’t have the support that I still needed as a newer agent. I have now joined a team that is AMAZING. The owner of the team is super helpful and has things in place for things that need to be done. There is always people around to help and are always willing to collaborate on things. It truly feels like a family and I couldn’t be happier.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Personally, as an agent I love working with First Time Home Buyers. I like that I can educate them on the whole process, so they know exactly what is going on. Since I went through the process on my own, I want people to know that we are here to help them. This is one of the biggest purchases someone will make and I don’t want them to have questions that go unanswered.
What matters most to you?
My clients matter the most to me. This whole process is to help them, it doesn’t matter what I want, I am there to help them find their perfect home.
