Today we’d like to introduce you to Yoana Nin.
Hi Yoana, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey has been shaped by many roles—immigrant, entrepreneur, mother, wife, author, and coach. When I moved to the United States, I had to rebuild everything from the ground up. Like many immigrant entrepreneurs, I learned quickly that if I wanted to create the life I dreamed of, I had to build it myself.
Over the years, my husband and I built a successful real estate business together, helping families and investors find their place in North Carolina. From the outside, everything looked strong and successful. But like many women entrepreneurs, behind the scenes I was juggling a lot—building a business, raising two children, managing a household, and trying to be everything for everyone.
What I began to notice, both in myself and in the women around me, was how many of us were quietly struggling with overwhelm, emotional intensity, and the feeling that starting even small things sometimes felt harder than it should.
That realization led me to explore executive function, ADHD, and the way our brains work. What I discovered changed everything. Many of the struggles women carry are not personal failures—they are challenges with task initiation, emotional regulation, and the constant pressure to do it all perfectly.
Today, alongside my real estate career, I coach women entrepreneurs to understand their minds, build supportive systems, and turn what once felt like chaos into clarity and strength.
Because I truly believe this: when women understand how their brains work, they stop fighting themselves—and start building extraordinary lives.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road.
Like many first-generation immigrants, I came to the United States with big dreams but very little understanding of how things worked here. I had to learn everything—from cultural differences to how business is done in America. There were moments when I doubted myself and wondered if I would truly succeed in a country that was not originally my own.
Along the way, I also experienced deep personal heartbreak. I went through two miscarriages—losses that shaped me in ways that are difficult to describe. At the same time, I was navigating motherhood without the support of extended family nearby. Those early years were beautiful, but they were also incredibly challenging.
I carried a lot of fear: fear of failing, fear of not being enough, fear that as a first-generation immigrant I might not find my place professionally.
But slowly, through persistence, faith, and learning, things began to change.
Together with my husband, I built The Prosperous Agency, our award-winning real estate company. I also wrote two books and later founded Yoana Nin Coaching, where I now help women entrepreneurs overcome overwhelm and turn their unique minds into their greatest advantage.
Looking back, the road was far from easy. But every struggle helped shape who I am today—and it’s those experiences that allow me to truly understand and support the women I serve.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My work today is centered around helping people build meaningful, successful lives—both personally and professionally. I am the CEO of The Prosperous Agency, an award-winning real estate company serving families, investors, and relocation clients in the Raleigh–Cary area of North Carolina. Through our work, my husband and I help clients make confident real estate decisions in one of the fastest-growing regions in the country.
Alongside real estate, I founded Yoana Nin Coaching, where I work with women entrepreneurs—especially those navigating ADHD, overwhelm, and the pressure of balancing business, family, and personal wellbeing. My coaching focuses on strengthening key executive functions like task initiation and emotional regulation, helping women turn what feels like chaos into clarity and confidence.
My journey as a first-generation immigrant deeply shapes my work. I came to the United States with very little and had to learn how to build a business and a life from the ground up. That experience taught me resilience, faith, and the belief that with hard work and the right mindset, it is possible to create the life you dream of.
I am also the author of “Journey to Inner Joy and Success in Real Estate” and “Love Me or Not, Say It to My Face and Drop the F* Phone,”** books that reflect my passion for personal growth, honest communication, and building a life guided by joy, values, and purpose.
Through The Prosperous Agency and Yoana Nin Coaching, my mission is simple: help people believe in their potential and give them the support and tools to build a life that truly reflects who they are.
