Hi Stacey, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
This is a story about about a mother-daughter duo, Stacey Price and Irish Dickerson. It has been my dream for a long time to be a business owner, so when a family friend and owner of the boutique decided to retire, my mother and I knew this was our moment. We took a leap of faith, stepped into the world of boutique ownership, and haven’t looked back since. It has been an exciting journey so far! We’ve learned not only what it takes to run a successful business, but also how powerful community, connection, and relationships are. The best part is the incredible people we’ve met along the way.
We actually have 3 generations of women here at La Boutique, me, my mother and my daughters, Olivia and Kailee who help keep our style fresh and keep us connected to the next generation of fashion lovers. They are are also learning so much about community and business as we figure this thing out together. Even my little niece, Lily, is a budding fashionista!
With a shared love for fashion, a heart for women, and a passion for creating beautiful experiences, we’re bringing fresh energy and new ideas while staying true to the girly, elegant vibe our customers love.
I often joke that we’re “building the airplane while flying it,” but honestly, that’s part of the magic. With the support of our family, our team, and our amazing customers, we’re not just keeping this dream alive — we’re soaring.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road as there were many things that go on behind the scenes of a storefront that we were not prepared for. My mom and I both came from running businesses from home, so we knew sales and customer relationships well, but owning a storefront introduced us to a whole new level of entrepreneurship.
Suddenly, we weren’t just helping women find outfits they loved — we were learning inventory management, buying, merchandising, Point-of-Sale systems, budgeting, marketing, and all the countless behind-the-scenes details that keep a boutique running day after day. There were moments we felt completely overwhelmed… and moments we laughed until we cried trying to figure it all out.
We have also had to learn how to work together and be business partners, not just mother-daughter. And sometimes, that can be a challenge, but we would not have it any other way! Building this dream together makes it so much more fun.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I think so many experiences and people in my life have played a role in where I am today. However, I must really give credit to God for blessing me with so many wonderful people in my life that have inspired me and cheered me on. We truly stepped out in faith, believing that God would provide and he has. We have the best customers and friends, too, who support us and we are so thankful for them!
