Meet Angela Lange of Magical Moments Travel Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Lange.

Angela, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a military spouse, frequent moves have always been a part of our life, so I knew I wanted a career that could move with us wherever we went. At the same time, I wanted to build something that truly aligned with who I am and what I enjoy most. I’ve always loved travel, planning, and helping people create meaningful memories together.

Family is incredibly important to me, so becoming a travel advisor felt like a very natural fit. It gave me the flexibility to be present for my own family while also helping other families, couples, and travelers plan experiences they’ll remember for years to come.

Over time, what started as a passion for travel and planning grew into a business I’m incredibly proud of. I’ve been fortunate to help clients plan everything from Disney vacations and cruises to all-inclusive resorts and once-in-a-lifetime bucket trips around the world. I truly love getting to know my clients, understanding what matters most to them, and helping turn those travel dreams into reality.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t always been a completely smooth road. Like many small business owners, there were a lot of learning curves in the beginning — building a business, growing a client base, learning the industry, and balancing it all with family life and the unpredictability that comes with military life. Frequent moves can be challenging, especially when you’re trying to maintain consistency and continue growing professionally.

That said, those challenges have also helped me grow tremendously, both personally and professionally. The travel industry teaches you to be adaptable, resourceful, and client-focused, especially when unexpected situations arise. I think those experiences have made me a stronger advisor and allowed me to better support my clients through all aspects of their travel planning journey.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My business is very personal to me because it truly is just that — personal. I’m a small business owner and a one-person operation, which means every client receives individualized attention and direct communication from me throughout the entire planning process. When clients work with me, they’re not calling an 800 number and waiting on hold for a random representative. They can call, text, or email me directly, and I think that relationship-driven approach is what really sets my business apart.

I take the time to get to know my clients, their travel styles, priorities, and what makes a vacation meaningful for them. In many cases, those client relationships turn into genuine friendships over time, which is something I’m incredibly grateful for and proud of. I never want people to feel like they’re just another booking or transaction. To me, they’re families making memories, couples celebrating milestones, or individuals finally taking a dream trip they’ve waited years for.

I specialize in Disney destinations, including not only the theme parks, but also Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, the incredible guided experiences offered through Adventures by Disney and their partnership with National Geographic Expeditions. I also specialize in cruises, Universal Studios vacations, Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts, as well as trips to French Polynesia — which is one of my favorite destinations to help clients experience because it’s so unique and unforgettable.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the trust my clients place in me. In an industry where people have endless online booking options, the fact that clients continue to return, refer friends and family, and trust me with some of their most important memories means everything to me. I want readers to know that my business is built on relationships, honesty, personalized service, and a genuine love for helping people experience the world in meaningful ways.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have a strong support system behind me throughout this journey. First and foremost, my husband, Chris, has always been one of my biggest supporters. He has always encouraged me to pursue this business and has never hesitated to step in and help whenever needed. Having that kind of support at home has made a huge difference.

My children and extended family have also been amazing cheerleaders along the way. Running a business while balancing family life can be challenging at times, and their encouragement, understanding, and support have meant more than they probably realize.

Professionally, KHM Travel Group has played a huge role in my growth and success as a travel advisor. Their training, mentorship, and ongoing support have been invaluable. The travel industry is constantly evolving, and having access to education, resources, and experienced professionals has helped me continue learning and growing so I can better serve my clients.

And of course, my clients deserve so much credit as well. The fact that people trust me to help plan some of their most important vacations and milestones is something I never take for granted. Their loyalty, referrals, and continued support are truly what allow my business to grow and thrive.
