Community Highlights: Meet Kimberly Jimenez of Kline Model Management

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Jimenez.

Hi Kimberly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey in the fashion industry started when I was a child. I began modeling at a young age and always had a deep love for fashion, creativity, and the industry as a whole. I started modeling professionally at 16, and at 19, I took a leap of faith and moved to New York City to pursue a career in fashion more seriously. Looking back, I truly believe God was guiding every step of the journey, opening doors and shaping opportunities in ways I could never have planned myself.

I initially began working at a modeling agency, where I learned the business from the inside out and worked my way up to become a model agent. Over time, I had the opportunity to direct fashion divisions at modeling agencies in both New York and North Carolina, which gave me invaluable experience in talent development, placement, and long-term career strategy.

A few years later, I stepped back into modeling full-time in New York and was signed to top modeling agencies, giving me the opportunity to work at a high level within the industry while gaining an even deeper perspective as talent myself. During that time, I was blessed to work with major clients such as Target, Anne Klein, L’Oréal, and Hanes. Those experiences gave me a unique understanding of both sides of the business — not only from the agency perspective, but firsthand as a working model navigating the industry.

In 2022, after years of experience and prayerful reflection, I founded Kline Model Management with a vision to create an agency rooted in genuine relationships, strong development, and intentional career direction. I wanted to build a company that truly invests in its talent and helps pave the way for sustainable, meaningful careers in modeling. What began as a mother agency has since grown into a full-service modeling agency based in North Carolina, representing women, men, and children, with talent and clients throughout the United States and internationally.

Now, with 15+ years of experience in the fashion and modeling industry, I’m incredibly grateful for the journey. Through every season — the challenges, opportunities, and growth — my faith has remained at the center. I truly believe God has guided this path, and I see this work not just as a career, but as a calling to help people discover confidence, purpose, and direction in an industry I’ve loved for as long as I can remember.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road — but I think every meaningful journey comes with challenges that shape you. The fashion and modeling industry is incredibly competitive, and there were seasons that required a lot of perseverance, resilience, and faith. Moving to New York at a young age to pursue a career in fashion came with uncertainty, pressure, and learning how to navigate an industry that can be demanding and constantly evolving.

Throughout my career, I’ve experienced both sides of the business — as a model and as an agent — and both came with unique challenges. As a model, there are highs and lows, constant rejection, and the pressure to remain confident in an industry where hearing “no” is part of the process. On the agency side, building trust, developing talent, and helping people navigate an unpredictable industry takes patience, strategy, and a deep sense of responsibility.

Starting Kline Models also came with challenges. Building a business from the ground up requires sacrifice, long hours, and a willingness to grow through trial and error. There have been moments of uncertainty, setbacks, and difficult decisions, especially while trying to build something with intention and integrity in a fast-moving industry.

But through every challenge, my faith has grounded me. I truly believe God uses difficult seasons to refine us, strengthen us, and redirect us when needed. Some of the biggest struggles ultimately became the moments that prepared me most — not only to lead an agency, but to better support and mentor the talent we represent today. Looking back, I’m grateful for the hard seasons because they shaped both who I am and the vision behind the company.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Kline Model Management is a full-service modeling agency based in North Carolina, representing women, men, and children, with talent and clients throughout the United States and internationally. What makes us unique is that we’re deeply rooted in development, genuine relationships, and long-term career direction. We don’t just focus on placements — we focus on helping talent build sustainable, meaningful careers.

With my background as both a professional model and model agent, we bring a unique perspective to management because we understand the industry from both sides. We specialize in talent development, mother agency management, placement, and helping models build confidence, professionalism, and strong personal brands while navigating the fashion and commercial industries.

What sets us apart is our hands-on, personalized approach. We truly invest in our talent and believe in quality over quantity, mentorship, integrity, and creating opportunities that align with each individual’s goals and long-term success. Brand-wise, I’m most proud that we’ve built a company known for authenticity, professionalism, and relationships. At the core of everything we do is a heart to genuinely support people, help them grow, and create opportunities that can change the trajectory of their careers and confidence.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy? Honestly — my kids, my family, traveling, and food. Give me quality time with the people I love, a trip somewhere exciting (or honestly even just a good getaway), crêpes with Nutella, or really good chicken wings, and I’m a happy girl haha. I love making memories, laughing, and enjoying the simple moments because life moves fast, and those little things end up meaning the most.

But beyond all of that, my relationship with God is where I find true joy and peace. As much as I love a good trip or a plate of wings, real happiness comes from the Lord. One verse I always come back to is, ‘The joy of the Lord is your strength’ (Nehemiah 8:10). Through every season, that reminder helps me stay grateful, hopeful, and focused on what really matters.
