Today we’d like to introduce you to Chloe Dixon.
Hi Chloe , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Started in NY as a cosmetologist , moved to N.C. Started my salon business was very successful. I’m super proud to say that after leaving my salon cosmetologist that worked with me have become some of the best hairstylist/salon owners I got hired for a hair care company , traveled all across the USA educating other professionals on how to use the products. I was just about to go international but i had to refuse because i had to take care of my mother who was dying of throat cancer., however i still worked with the company an d became their director of education. I also established my own course for professionals called “The Scientific Approach To Haircare. When the pandemic hit i was able to work with a corporate company doing online education while establishing my self and my salon as a hair loss restoration center. I also did education online for an Italian hair color line, currently I”m a instructor at a community college I still work in my salon as a hair loss expert and i have created my own haircare line of products which is named after my granddaughters.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the struggles included where giving up family time although i did include them whenever possible, also finances wasn’t always there, but we managed. Them sometimes my passion was mis communicated by other professionals. One of the biggest thing i found and still find is the lack of unity and the discrimination that in across the board with the industry
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in color, cuts. Healthy hair customer service i am most proud of the fact I didn’t quit and that i still have a lot to offer to the community even at my age.. what sets me apart is I believe that nothing beats a failure but a try, also that I’m pretty smart 🤗
