Today we’d like to introduce you to Jezreel Sirach.
Jezreel , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started out with a laptop and ideas. I began writing when I was in high school. After graduating, my peers had cameras so I looked to them to help film. That didn’t work out so I bought my first camera and even then I didn’t get much help from friends and people close to me. I finally decided to step out of my comfort zone and venture out to people I didn’t know in my area and even out of state. That was the best thing I ever did because it helped with my networking. I was filming content, parades, cooperate events, interviews, podcasts etc. under the mother company of my business Chapter Sev7en Studios. I shot Just Reel Films (my production company) first film “The Eye” in 2023 and since then my development in film has grown exponentially with my best film in my opinion being “A Gift For You”. I later went to Full Sail University which helped me out tremendously. I wanted to know the technical side of film as well as the business. Now I am shooting podcast, interviews and content for clients and have a film in post production and another film in pre production.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was definitely hard in the beginning, I felt like I was by myself. Being a one man crew is not the way to go. It is understood just starting but advancing you need a crew. Finding a crew, people that are serious was one of my biggest struggles.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business is a production company that helps others bring their vision to life. We specialize in pre production ( helping you plan and get started) to post production (execution) We are known for filming events, podcast, interviews, music videos and under our DBA Just Reel Films creating films (movies). I am most proud with how far the production company has come and where I plan to take it in the near future. I want the readers to know if you have an idea but need help bringing it to life whether a podcast, documentary, or even a film of your own that you want to come to life, we are here to help. As long as you have vision we will take care of the rest.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I had ambition for what I wanted to do. I first wanted to be an actor, but I soon found out that I didn’t want to do certain scenes. So, I decided to take matters in my own hands for better control and started writing which ultimately led to film. I was also funny, sometimes class clown, thank God I grew up. I was and still am loyal. I always had integrity.
