Today we’d like to introduce you to Ricardo Noriega.
Hi Ricardo, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Shamans or curanderos, have been a part of my family lineage for many generations so I have always been drawn to energy and natural healing since childhood. After many years of going to and studying energy healing I finally took a course in Shamanism and became a Shamanic Practitioner. After completing my training and doing more research on the subject I had a feeling of completeness and a sense of purpose.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not Although I had an excellent teacher who was very patient and made sure you understood what was being taught and why, I applied a lot of pressure on myself to honor my ancestors and to show the love and respect that it deserved. Once I completed my training it took some time for me to get my business up and running. Even after I started treating people I became to caught up in the steps of healing instead of just following my instincts and going where I needed to go energetically.
As you know, we’re big fans of Healing By Hawkeye. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I am an intuitive reader that uses visions, a sense of knowing, voices from spirit, animal symbols, and angels combined with using oracle cards to bring messages for healing, insight, and guidance. While my intuitive journey began when at the age of 4 when I had my first near-death experience (NDE), my education comes from the knowledge passed down from my ancestors. I come from a long line of Curanderos [kuɾanˈdeɾo], (Spanish for healers). As a child, I remember having dreams that turned out to be true. I also had two more NDEs by the time I was 15, and luckily, I haven’t had any more, since I believe we have a set number of exit points and I may have reached mine.
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
Luck, good and bad, has played a major part in my life. “Bad” luck has paid a major part by teaching me lessons to learn from and to help others who are going through the same thing and has showed me how to be resilient and find a way to turn the situation around. “Good” luck has taught me to appreciate everything and everyone in my life and good luck just doesn’t happen you have to set the wheels in motion and make it happen.
