Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittnee Harris.
Hi Brittnee, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into credit repair began out of necessity, not because I planned to start a business. Around 2019, I was trying to purchase my first home in North Carolina, but I kept getting denied. At the time, I didn’t truly understand credit or how much it impacted major life decisions. Like many people, I thought paying my bills was enough and had no idea what lenders were really looking for.
Instead of giving up, I decided to learn everything I could about credit. I spent the next 30 to 60 days researching credit reporting, consumer laws, and the dispute process. I applied what I learned to my own credit profile, and within a short period of time I was able to improve my credit enough to qualify for a mortgage. Soon after, I was approved and purchased my first home.
That experience changed my life. I realized there were so many hardworking people just like me who weren’t being denied because they couldn’t afford a home—they were being denied because they didn’t understand how credit worked. I knew I wanted to help change that.
After buying my home, I began building relationships with Realtors and mortgage professionals who started referring clients to me. I found a passion for helping families improve their credit, remove inaccurate negative items, increase their scores, and achieve their dreams of homeownership. What started as my personal struggle has now become my purpose.
Today, through Reliable Credit Repair Solutions, I have helped countless individuals and families take control of their financial future. There’s nothing more rewarding than getting the call that a client has been approved for a home, vehicle, or loan they once thought was impossible. My mission is simple: educate, empower, and help people build generational wealth by first building strong credit.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, I started with very little, no blueprint, no mentor, and no large budget. I had to learn the credit industry through countless hours of research, training, and real-life experience. Building trust was one of my biggest challenges because credit repair is an industry where many people have been let down by false promises. I had to earn every client’s confidence through honesty, transparency, and results.
One of the most difficult seasons of my life came in 2023 when I went through a divorce. Like many marriages, most of our financial obligations were in my name, which meant that when the marriage ended, I was left carrying much of the debt. The financial stress was overwhelming at times, and it affected my credit and my ability to move forward. I wasn’t just helping clients rebuild their credit—I was rebuilding my own life at the same time.
As a single mother, I had to learn how to recover financially while raising my children, maintaining my full-time career, and continuing to grow my business. There were many late nights, difficult decisions, and moments when I questioned whether I could keep going. But I refused to let my circumstances define my future.
Instead, I applied the same credit strategies and financial principles that I teach my clients. I created a plan, stayed disciplined, and worked through every obstacle one step at a time. That experience gave me an even deeper understanding of what many of my clients are facing. I know what it feels like to experience financial hardship, to feel discouraged, and to wonder if things will ever get better.
Today, those challenges have become part of my purpose. They allow me to serve my clients with empathy because I’ve lived through many of the same struggles they are facing. My journey has taught me that setbacks don’t have to be permanent. With the right knowledge, a clear plan, and consistency, it is possible to rebuild your credit, restore your finances, and create a better future.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
One of the things I love most about the Raleigh, Fayetteville, and Triangle area is the sense of opportunity and community. It’s a region that’s grown tremendously over the years, offering a great balance of career opportunities, education, and family life. I purchased my first home in North Carolina, and that’s where my journey into credit repair truly began. The people there played a huge role in helping me build my business through referrals, relationships with local Realtors, and a community that believed in supporting small businesses. No matter how much the area grows, it still has a welcoming, hometown feel that makes people want to invest in their future.
If I had to choose something I like least, it would be how quickly the area has grown. While the growth has brought many opportunities, it’s also led to heavier traffic, rising housing costs, and made homeownership more challenging for many families. As someone who works in credit restoration, I see firsthand how difficult it can be for people to qualify for a home in today’s market.
That’s why I’m passionate about helping individuals improve their credit so they’re in the best possible position to achieve their homeownership goals despite the changing market.
Overall, the Triangle will always hold a special place in my heart because it’s where I learned the value of perseverance, homeownership, and building generational wealth.
