Today we’d like to introduce you to Tan-Je Hampton.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I first launched my company based on my skill as a Disk Jockey. It’s been a family business on my dad’s side, but I knew my vision was much bigger than that, and I’ve always had a passion for music, even as a little kid. My vision is to create a company where other entrepreneurs can achieve their dream job doing what they love. As I began my new company, I had a lot to learn, and it’s made me humble in a way I’m so thankful for. When I launched my company, I always wanted it to be a legacy company because the name needed to mean something to me that I truly love, so I chose my Last name. Fast forward to today, my company continues to grow, and the vision has remained the same.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road; I can honestly say it never is, but you must move forward, and also Cover Yourself in all the business that you do. The number two thing I learned on this path of being a CEO is to manage your money properly. You may think you’re successful with all the money coming in, but you still have those taxes and everything else you need to handle.

The Hampton Corporation is a Holding company. We specialize in multiple businesses that I’ve started.
My DJ business is known as 415 Productions
My Visuals business (Photography & Videography) is known as Pyramids Visuals
My Investing business is known as The Opulence Table
I have 2 more businesses coming soon: one in traveling and app development. So stay tuned for all those to come up.
I’m proud of all my businesses, but the one I would say is the first one. That company was the start of it all and the foundation for the empire I plan to make. Because I’m not done with everything I wish to make, and you never know, someone may want to grow as a partners.
I want people to know what The Hampton Corporation stands for, but also that anyone can become a part of this business and strive for greatness with us.
How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe in luck, to be honest. I’m a man of faith, so I believe all things that happen are either a blessing or a lesson. For example, I had a client cancel on me the day of their event. Even though I received a deposit, I wasn’t happy that it was canceled the way it was handled. But by having faith and believing God would work it out for me, I received another event that same day and made double what I was originally supposed to make.
