Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Drumwright Aka Supa Producer DJ Vanex.
Hi Christopher , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started DJing, Producing and writing in High School, When i went to college “NCCU” in Durham i started getting more booking for my work. Then i started as a intern at a studio. Form there i meet a lot of music executive and got offer a production Deal at BADBOY Records in NY. From there i started producing for artist on the label. Now i have my own company call Xclusive Studios and my own Mixshow on oak93.5 fm on Saturdays at 10pm here in Raleigh. Also i have my own records out now that i Produced and writing along with with Chart Topping artists DJ Drama, Project Pat, Christopher Williams, Fabo and more. My Singles “ActAhFool” , “Go Crazy Line Dance” & “Dirty” is Available Now.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all its was a lot of late nights on the road. Moving, failing investing money that i did not have to get better gear. Moving to BRONX, NY where i did not know anyone. It’s was crazy, my car got broking into the 1st day there.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Music Producer, Artist, DJ & Music Executive. I am known as the “The Super Producer” and The Celebrity DJ”. I am most proud of winning “NC Producer of the Year” at Carolina Music Video Awards. What sets me apart from others is my ear for music. I know how to put together a good song.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Staying busy working with new talent makes me happy, because this is how legends are made.
