Hi Peter, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Our reggae band Rastacoustic:
We perform and tour to provide people with a safe place to let loose and be themselves in a positive environment of love and unity. We perform to bring musical diversity and provide a style of music that doesn’t regularly come through our region
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Jah provide always. No matter how rough or smooth our road has been, We are always exactly where we need to be.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Our mission is to connect community and celebrate life through uplifting musical experiences. We pride ourselves on providing high quality, contagious high energy, spirituality uplifting shows for our audience.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
It can feel risky to put any type of art out for others to experience. What will people think of it? How will people respond? Etc.
The rewards are worth the risks artistically. Eventually what used to feel like a risk becomes habit. We try to trust the process and follow the guidance we feel from JAH
