Hi Sidnee , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always loved fashion, but more than that, I’ve loved the way a great outfit can completely change how someone feels about themselves. Confidence is powerful, and sometimes it starts with the right jacket, the perfect bag, or a graphic tee that says exactly what you’re thinking.
Proposition Infinity was born from my love of style, sarcasm, and the belief that getting dressed should be fun. I wanted to create a brand that felt different from the endless sea of cookie-cutter boutiques. Something with personality. Something that felt a little edgy, a little playful, and a lot like the women shopping it.
Like most small business owners, I started with big ideas and learned everything else as I went. I’ve built the website, sourced products, packed orders, created content, and spent more late nights than I can count figuring things out one step at a time. There have been challenges, mistakes, and plenty of moments where I questioned what I was doing but there have also been incredible wins that reminded me exactly why I started.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Like a lot of small business owners, I started with a vision but not a roadmap. One of the biggest challenges has been learning how to do everything myself; website design, product sourcing, marketing, social media, inventory management, shipping, customer service, and somehow still finding time to sleep. When you’re building a business from the ground up, there’s no department to hand things off to. If something needs done, it’s on you.
Another challenge has been learning to trust the process. Social media can make entrepreneurship look like overnight success, but the reality is a lot less glamorous. There are slow sales days, algorithm changes, inventory that doesn’t perform the way you expected, and moments when you wonder if anyone is even seeing all the work you’re putting in. I’ve had to learn that growth isn’t always loud but sometimes it’s one customer, one order, and one small win at a time.

More than anything, I’m proud of building a brand that feels genuine. Proposition Infinity isn’t just about selling clothes; it’s about helping women express themselves, embrace their confidence, and find pieces that make them feel amazing. What does success mean to you?
I define success as building a life and a business that feel authentically mine. It’s not just about revenue or hitting a certain number, it’s about creating something I’m genuinely proud of, having the freedom to make my own choices, and being able to look back and know I took a chance on myself. For me, success is financial independence, creative freedom, and building Proposition Infinity into a brand that makes women feel confident and empowered.
