Hi Dilshod, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Currently, I am passionate about how technology is transforming the modern world. My main job is in Fintech and enterprise risk management, where I focus on risk mitigation and making sure the organization has adequate controls to stay secure, resilient, and ready for future growth. Outside of my day job, I’ve also built a presence in real estate investing—a great way to build passive wealth on the side while staying fully committed to my primary career.
As a first-generation immigrant from Tajikistan, the journey here opened up endless opportunities to connect and grow. Thankfully, I am surrounded by close friends who are also my business partners. We come from diverse international backgrounds, which makes our team truly unique and stronger. We share the same vision, respect each other, and work toward the exact same goals.
That cross-cultural synergy fuels our drive to stay ahead of the curve. Today, my focus is heavily on our new venture—Sapphire AI Labs—where we leverage AI and automation to build tools that help corporations streamline operations and boost efficiency.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Obstacles are part of every journey, but as a first-generation immigrant, my biggest challenge was building a network completely from scratch. I didn’t grow up here—I didn’t go to school or daycare with anyone in my field, so I had to start over as an adult without a built-in support system. Finding trustworthy business partners who truly share your mindset and respect your vision takes time.
To overcome this, I rely on two core principles: resiliency and agility. Resiliency gives me the strength to bounce back from setbacks, while agility helps me adapt quickly to new environments and technologies. Building success doesn’t happen overnight. By staying resilient, adaptable, and focused on trust, those initial challenges eventually turned into my greatest strengths.

Any big plans?
Beyond expanding the business, I am eager to focus more on mentorship. It has always been a dream of mine to support the younger generation—whether locally or internationally—especially students and recent graduates. Entering the professional world without real-world experience or guidance can feel overwhelming, and I want to bridge that gap by sharing practical insights to help them launch their own businesses or navigate their early careers.
