Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachelle Callison.
Hi Rachelle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started doing modeling during covid, I was let go from my job and had a lot of time on my hands. I decided that if I was not going to be working, I would pursue some of my more creative/ambitious dreams! Over time I was able to meet and work with so many wonderful photographers and create some really beautiful things.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I definitely did not believe I would be where I am today. Didn’t think that anyone would be interested in working with me or that I would have the talent to succeed. Despite that, I decided I would try anyways.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a fashion and avant-garde model and makeup artist. I do all kinds of shoots but the ones that I have the most fun with and that really stand out are the conceptual, avant-garde, unusual ideas, the stuff you don’t see typical beauty models do.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I would really like to be able to build up my presence and in the future be able to create big projects that really create a story and allow all sorts of creatives to contribute to something amazing.
