Today we’d like to introduce you to Christian Rebuli.
Christian, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I studied Industrial Engineering in Guatemala. There I worked in Industrial Safety and Health at Exxon Mobil in Guatemala for three years. When I moved to the US, I started working as the Safety Director of a window cleaning company. After that experience, I decided to establish a company in the same industry with two major goals: to grow as an entrepreneur and to give back to the community by providing job opportunities to minorities.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I feel blessed and lucky that for the most part, it has been a fairly smooth road! Yes, I have had some struggles, but I have had significant support, both from God and my family. In building a business, you learn new things every day, some days are tough, and others are total victories. Some challenges we’ve faced include contracting with our first clients, balancing workload and cash flow, and identifying a bidding and estimate system that works for us. While I was already in the industry and knew the basics of window cleaning operations, we had to learn a lot about running a business. Some of the lessons I’ve learned include that you have to have patience, a vision, love what you do, and enjoy every challenge. It is also a major benefit to have business associates you can lean on, for me that has been my wife and my brother, who have both been strong supports for RebFor LLC.

RebFor LLC is a window cleaning business based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. We are a HUB certified minority-owned business that provides services throughout North Carolina. Our primary services include window cleaning and pressure washing for commercial buildings, both for new construction and established buildings. We are high-rise experts and pride ourselves in striving for excellence in customer service, customer satisfaction, and safety.
Any big plans?
We are not planning any big changes at the moment. Like most businesses in today’s climate, we are trying to adjust to a new normal during the pandemic. We are working to be nimble and flexible in order to meet the changing needs of our clients as the pandemic progresses.
