Today we’d like to introduce you to Franck Siri.
Hi Franck, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
My dad started to work with air conditioning while he was in the military.
He repaired HVAC & refrigeration systems on boats. After that, he started his own company in the south of France, where I grew up. Now, this company is one of the largest and the biggest independent contractor companies in France. So, It was actually decided that I should follow my dad’s path. But… I like to do things my way, and be known because I am good at something, not just because of my dad. So after I finished university in refrigeration engineering systems, I worked for them for a while to realize I also like the business management side of the business and can run my own thing.
I opened my own company in France. Then I started to get contracts with hotel constructions, do their AC, refrigeration & kitchen project.
Afterwards, I moved my operations to the Caribbean islands (St. Martin and St. Barth) where we serve luxury hotels, real estate agencies, houses, and apartments.
But together with my wife, we have always shared a love for the United States!
She participated in an exchange program as a student and lived in Boston for 2 years, I had posters with American landscapes on my wall when I was young. We both knew that the US is where our heart belongs. We spend almost every summer in the US. Visited NC a few times to make sure it’s “our” place.
After we got our first baby we decided it’s the right time to fill out tons of papers, prepare a business plan, get our visa and we started our new adventure. The year we moved here hurricane Irma destroyed islands, so we had to help rebuild islands, which delayed opening NCHC then Covid-19 got on the way… But here we are!
Starting again from zero… from just me, answering the phone, making quotes, and doing the service calls, repairs myself to a great team now!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
As I mentioned before – the road was bumpy. From getting a visa (it’s very long, stressful, expensive) to natural disasters like hurricanes, then covid-19.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
NCHC provides heating and cooling to residential and commercial customers. From reparation, maintenance, to installation. We have done work for local schools and gyms, apartments, restaurants, houses. What we are proud of is:
– honesty ( we prefer to save you money if we can and have a happy customer)
– good quality (work is done if it’s done well)
– good customer service
– good price
We will meet your needs, and honestly offer all solutions.
What makes you happy?
My family. I know it might be cheesy but they really make my day! When I hear “daddy I love you “
I am melting!
