Hi Dominique, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?

I currently reside in Durham, North Carolina. I’m the Owner/Founder of A Touch of Dom Makeup Artistry and Hair Services and Adore Dom Collection Online Boutique located in Durham, North Carolina. I believe in making the world a better place, and taking it one day at a time. When I first started Adore Dom Collection, I wanted every woman to be able to look and feel beautiful, no matter what shape or size. I am motivated from all of the women who has been inspired by my hard work, dedication, and determination. I believe that everyone should be accepted for who they are. I took all of the things that I love and wanted to share them with the world. Always remember to be you and to be beautiful. Continue to reach for the stars. Never give up on your dreams. Failing isn’t an option. This journey of entrepreneurship has been very interesting but I’m here for it all.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Hardship is inevitable when you’re going against the grain and pursuing a life of entrepreneurship, and making that your livelihood. Stepping out on an idea which it was at the time was indeed scary. I knew I had to get things together and they had to look a certain way. Coming up with a good business plan or even finding good quality products was extremely hard. Once I found the things, I needed then everything kind of went from there. With the help of my parents and friends, I was able to get my items out there and receive feed  back. Starting a business from the ground up is very nerve wrecking but it’s truly worth it. Coming up with a business plan and a strategy was the most difficult task. Once I found out how to market my products,
