Meet Kenya Lane

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenya Lane.

Hi Kenya, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Kenya Lane and I am a native of Tampa, FL but currently reside in North Carolina. I am a mother of a beautiful and smart 12-year-old daughter named, Gabryelle and a wife of 16 years.

My company is called “Curvy Lips Collection” which is a cosmetic and hairline geared to embrace and encourage women of all ages and ethnicities. We believe that loving your lips and creating a healthy hair journey is very important and should be a part of loving yourself. My goal was to create a brand that helps encourage everyone to love themselves no matter the race, size, and ethnicity through enhancing the beauty within with our yourself using our products, knowing that we are not just makeup we are a movement within itself.

Our store can be located online via our website and we are also on most social media outlets such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Our vision is to touch lives through our cosmetics and healthy hair products nationwide.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of our struggles was locating the right vendor for our products.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am known for my funny personality and outgoing spirit. I am very proud of my daughter. Living in these times is very hard and peer pressure is something that Gabby is learning to cope with through positive reinforcement.
