Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Buchanan.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
The vision and mission of Trinity Speech Therapy, PLLC began 10-12 years ago as the culture of rehabilitation and wellness began to emerge with a more poignant service provision of ‘patient-centered’ services.
My initial thought process behind the company mission and purpose focused on primarily speech therapy services that are fee-based and insurance-backed. Upon a move to NC approximately 7.5 years prior to the date, I began to see the importance of fusing therapy services and educational support and counsel for patients, families, and corporate infrastructures, within senior living settings.
Support groups, educational health forums, and aging wellness programs are now woven into Trinity’s service infrastructure as we focus on therapy combined with wellness programs, serving patients, families, caregivers, and the staff who support our precious elderly communities.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
At Trinity, we have experienced steady growth since our start in December of 2020. We have grown from 1 clinician to 4 total employees within less than 2 years, thrilled to expand our service model and platform within the coming years!
We are looking forward to expanding our service provisions in the years to come!
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
People collaborate with me often about areas within my scope of practice related to neurological disease and neurocognitive disease re: education, awareness, prevention, assessment, treatment.
Aging awareness, Parkinson’s Disease, Voice treatment are other areas of specialty I tend to collaborate on and support others. Regarding receiving support, I often collaborate with senior living resident care management teams, executive directors, and medical practices as often as possible.
I feel networking and making connections within the medical community, specifically, adult/geriatric providers is essential for our growth!
