Inspiring Conversations with Chris Fuller and Jon Flynn of Dreams To Reality Music Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Fuller and Jon Flynn.

Hi Chris and Jon, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
DTR has had many iterations and variations. By chance, the universe allowed Chris’ fiance and Jon to meet through a social networking platform. She connected us together, and after a few calls and meetings, we found that we shared similar goals and visions for pioneering a new way to manage and cultivate talent. Thus, the partnership began.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Dreams To Reality Music Group, LLC. (DTR) is an up and coming music label founded in Raleigh, North Carolina. We were established under the principles of transparency, creativity, and passion while modernizing the ancient concept of record labels.

We think of DTR as a Jack of All Trades. We specialize in artist management, content creation, merchandising, artist development, and strategic business development. The music industry and music labels have a notorious reputation for being toxic, greedy, and empowering environments and practices that often leave artists unpaid, uninspired, and exhausted.

Our company prides itself in fostering an environment, company culture, and transparent business practices that allow artists to be compensated fairly, maintain their artist’s rights and continue to be the inspired creatives that they are. One thing anybody following or supporting DTR should know is our heart and souls go into everything our logo is on or is associated with. Our brand logo (the DTR flame) symbolises our commitment to trailblazing new paths for artists to have freedom, breaking industry barriers, and the future entertainers of tomorrow.

Our current roster of artists include Alie (@dontmindthesmoke), Don Altae (@donaltae), and Cloud Envy (@cloudenvy.22).

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Much like breaking into anything new in life, there are always obstacles; and we’ve had our fair share. This is particularly true for the entertainment industry, where 90% of navigating it is about who you know.

As many of us know, entrepreneurship in itself is very demanding. Whether that be time, money, or energy, you have to be prepared to meet those demands. Every day presents new sets of obstacles, challenges and experiences that we haven’t faced before.

Of course, we can’t forget about the pandemic and subsequently, the entertainment industry as a whole, was shut down for a year or so. Although, while we were not able to have our artist perform or throw any events, the shutdowns allowed us to continue to build our foundation and core as a company and as a partnership.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Chris’ Fiancé (Mecca) actually brought us together, so without her; DTR wouldn’t be where it is today.
