Check Out Angel Davis Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angel Davis.

Hi Angel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always felt I was destined to be a healer. As a child, I would massage my mother and give her foot massages. I’ve been a licensed massage therapist for 12yrs using different modalities to help clients with using various modalities to relax and release their tension.

As a child, I ALWAYS made my family homemade cards and felt I was artistic. However, after I had my oldest daughter I no longer had time to draw or explore my artistic side.

Once the pandemic hit, I was forced to be still and my best friend invited my girls and me over to paint and that is when my paint company began. I started posting my paintings on social media and my followers would ask if I hosted paint parties.

I hosted my first event and have been providing the RDU area with music and painting ever since.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I’ve definitely had my share of hurdles throughout this journey toward entrepreneurship.

Being a full-time mother, working in a spa whenever I’m not creating or doing in homes for personal clients makes for a busy schedule however my love for my careers keeps me pushing towards my goals.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a licensed massage therapist of 12 years.

I specialize in deep tissue therapeutic massage, Swedish, prenatal, cupping, Reiki level 1, and quite a few more modalities. My goal is to become a Reiki master incorporating more energy work in my massage practice.

I’m also an artist who paints custom canvases as well as provides pre-sketched canvases for paint parties such as sip and paints.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I see myself owning my own suite specifically for massage as well as continuing to grow my client base for in-home sessions.

I also envision myself hosting Glow n Paints across the country traveling on tour bringing my style off sip and paints to other states.
