Meet Tanisha Alexander

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanisha Alexander.

Hi Tanisha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Since age 14, I was working for billionaire companies.

At age 28, I made the decision to quit my job in April 2021 to pursue my career as a full-time entrepreneur. I took my leap of faith by putting my energy into what I truly love to do which is to love myself and others.

DNA aka DoubtNeverAllowed was created because I wanted to connect something that we as humans all have inside ourselves which is DNA. In college, I studied Biology & Kinesiology.

During that time, I was one class away from receiving my degree. Long story short, the University denied me to retake the class since I took it twice already and I am still without a degree. I was shunned by my professors, and advisors to put my career on the “back burner”. I knew then I had bigger things in store for me that stuck with me today to never stop believing in myself and to remain aware that I am walking in my purpose.

This brand is for the chosen who have suffered from self-doubt, body image issues, anxiety, depression, visions that want to come to life, struggled financially, been to the top, low confidence, high confidence, and plenty more. It’s a mixture of what we have all gone through at least once in our lives. These are some things I have personally gone through as an only child/adult who grew up in a military family, I have been homeless living in a car.

There were nights I couldn’t eat & sleep that made me realize there is something else for me besides the love of basketball. It opened my eyes to know that I can be in any situation at any given time. I carried myself well but there were dark times. I had to dig myself out to get back to the top and find my other passions.

DNA is an upcoming brand that consists of changing lives by implementing workouts, meals, providing a space to entertain, clothing apparel, changing the world by making sure our products are sustainable and of high quality, self-development, and most importantly spreading love & peace.

DNA is a vessel for all and there is no doubt in my body & mind that DNA will continue to rise and my story will be heard.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the struggles along the way were not believing in myself in the beginning, not having family & friends support my vision, and accepting the fact that strangers will support me sometimes more than my loved ones.

Another struggle was finding the right people to work with in order to get the best quality products while investing in the brand. There were also some days, I wanted to give up because I wasn’t seeing results fast enough.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am the CEO of my brand DNA aka DoubtNeverAllowed.

I do everything from purchasing my products to selling such as my t-shirts. I cook meals that will have you smiling on the inside and out. Within my brand, I either want a restaurant or to partner with a chef. I specialize in high-quality service and products. I cater to the customers’ needs while making sure I provide the best service.

I am known for living through love, peace, and self-love. I am known for giving my all to others without wanting anything in return. I am most proud of making one of the best decisions by working for myself in order to provide for my future. I take risks and I live on faith and smart work.

What sets me apart from others is being true to myself. I know who I am as a person and I am the Golden child. I am chosen to live through love by doing what I love and helping those get to their goals. I am aware that it will never be easy but I strive to make it to the top and see DNA flourish!
