Rising Stars: Meet Cortez Bass

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cortez Bass.

Hi Cortez, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I first got the idea from my grandparent’s back.

In the early 2000s, they had started a Janitorial service in Durham, NC and when I was younger, I use to help them out in the afternoon after school, my grandparents use to show me and my older cousin all the ways of cleaning and good chemicals to use.

So later on my grandparents had passed away and I wanted to continue the family cleaning business but I just changed the name to dedication matters enterprises due to me wanting to give all clients ALL dedication in all aspects of the services that we offer.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I kind of started the business back up around a good time COVID-19 was at its high and restaurants and schools were calling left and right.

Lately, it’s been smooth just having a great support system and the team we have been giving all our clients great dedication, the hardest part when we first started was showing a lot of our clients.

How we were different from other cleaning companies in the area and that we stood behind our motto “Remember Dedication Matters.”

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
What we do as a company is we treat our clients with all most up respect and services to all their needs.

Before we do a service on anyone property Residential/Commercial, we go to the site to get all the details so we can give them a dedicated service when we return. We specialize in our dedicated services and this makes us different because we always tell our clients Remember Dedication Matters and that means to us we go the extra mile to make sure everything is touched from crown moldings to baseboards.

What sets us apart from other cleaning companies is we don’t use home-based cleaning supplies in our residential cleanings and all our equipment is certified and checked daily to prevent any issues while giving our customers dedicated services.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Next five years – ten years. We look forward to starting to expand in the bigger populated states on the east coast and west coast
