Daily Inspiration: Meet Madeline Eddi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Madeline Eddi.

Hi Madeline, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Where do I even start! My journey has been a rollercoaster of events. From personal trainer, social media manager, business coach, influencer marketing coordinator, business development specialist, and content creator, you could say I’ve experienced a lot of roles up to the young age of 22.

It all started with a feeling. I had enrolled in my local college and before classes even began, I dropped out. Something told me that this wasn’t the path for me. The best way I can describe the past four years of countless professional roles and opportunities is that I was discovering my true passion through experience.

I can thank the version of myself that I am today for being open-minded, multi-passionate, and willing to listen to my true desires in order to get where I am now.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely has not been an easy road to travel. There were months when I seriously questioned how I was going to pay rent. Some of the roles I entailed didn’t always pay the bills.

There were times when I had to take on a part-time position in order to keep funding my passions. For example, when I first started my business coaching business, there were weeks and even months where I didn’t make a single penny (luckily I was living with my dad at the time, so it saved me from a complete downfall). But honestly, the occasional lack of funds wasn’t the true struggle, it was the mental one.

There were nights when I would stay up for hours trying to think of my next move, “How was I going to make this work? When was I going to draw the line?” The constant pressure to prove myself conflicting with imposter syndrome was a lot at times. I can’t even count the number of breakdowns I had trying to run an online-based business full time.

Another struggle was my lack of social life. Sure, I had quite the community built on my social media and through clients, but four years of being a young adult passed me by, just like that. I was always head deep into my computer and work.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I put other because I’ve been in each of these categories at least once!

But currently, I would call myself a professional and a creative. I work a couple of contract positions in the influencer marketing and business growth arena. I’m also a content creator building my personal brand while helping others do the same. I have a “no BS influencer-ship approach,” since the industry has grown rapidly with little education.

I’d say I’m most proud of growing a community amongst my social media presence instead of taking it all for personal gain. I want to be able to give back somehow when I succeed since I have a lot to thank my community for. The biggest thing that sets me apart from others is being willing to try new things and step out of the “norm.”

I’ve been able to experience so many amazing things because of this mindset.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What truly makes me happy is having the freedom to serve others in a way that also feels good to me.
