Daily Inspiration: Meet Chelsea Caudle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsea Caudle.

Hi Chelsea, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Yes, so I have always been a true foodie at heart. I have been taking pictures of different food and drinks of mine for forever now. I am also the go-to person amongst friends and family for restaurant recommendations. My mom started me young by watching Food Network and different cooking shows as a little girl. My family always gathers with food, so I have a true passion for food. I love being in the kitchen-I find it therapeutic to cook for my family and loved ones. I love for anyone who eats what I cook to be able to enjoy my food and the experience of eating it. Trying new restaurants has also been a thing for years now (and I mean years). It’s nothing like a new experience; from the customer service and ambiance of the spot to the taste of the food, It all matters to me. Hence why I started RaleighFoodBlog, I want people to know it all-honestly. From the pictures of the spot to pictures of the food to the final experience review. Being a Raleigh native, seeing the restaurant scene constantly expand makes it easier to find new spots to try to recommend to others eventually.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Starting my food blog has been somewhat of a smooth road. There are many other food bloggers around now, and the hardest part is finding spots no one else has tried. I try to stay consistent and add my own touch because I don’t want to be like everyone else. I want people to see my pics and reviews and know it’s me! And love my brand.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
By day I am an Account Manager for a Financial Tech company that specializes in creating digital solutions for Credit Unions. I have a heart for the Credit Union industry and financial literacy/wellbeing. I love helping people, and I am most proud of the genuine spirit that God blessed me with. I make each interaction count and ensure those around me are taken care of. This overflows into my professional career and my food blog, which I think sets me apart from others. Because when I go to these restaurants, I make sure I can connect with owners and staff getting to know them a little more and expressing my gratitude for the experience. I also love to genuinely support other food bloggers with their content because we all want our content to be appreciated and seen.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc.?
Well, my husband is a Pastor, so hearing his messages inspires and motivates me to be my best self! Tabitha Brown’s book: Feeding The Soul is also a staple of encouragement for me, one of the best reads I highly recommend!
