Community Highlights: Meet Natalie Kronzer of CareerPathWriter

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Kronzer.

Hi Natalie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
After spending years in the recruiting and human resources industries after graduating from SUNY Empire State College in New York, I decided to take a leap of faith and start a web-based business writing resumes and cover letters for professionals across the country and the world.

A huge part of my role in the recruiting realm was editing and perfecting resumes prior to client submission while working for industry-leading and small-shop recruiting firms in Richmond, VA.

My hope was to apply these skills and help professionals build career branding materials that enabled them to achieve dream career paths, increase their earnings, and enter workplace environments that empowered their professional growth.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
A big part of this career transition offered me the opportunity to be a part stay-at-home mom, and part business owner. This of course came with unique stressors that at times were manageable and at other times overwhelming.

Over time, I was able to perfect my craft, gain knowledge of countless industries and professions, and with a relentless focus on quality, always deliver exceptional results to my clients.

This included late nights working after a long day spent with my boys (now 6 and 2.5 years old), juggling motherhood and sole business ownership, and being the only one there to address client questions and get the work completed on time.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
The pandemic brought an entirely new challenge to balancing motherhood and business ownership. As transplants, my husband and I lost our already sparse family support system and part-time childcare.

We were in the midst of pure parenting chaos. But, we made it through and the past few years have taught me the importance of focusing on my children’s well-being over my business’s success, not agreeing to unachievable timelines, and accepting help when offered.
