Hi Elena, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey as a Holistic Practitioner began in 2005. After practicing conventional medicine for 5 years, I’ve learned that functional medicine is the key to treating the cause of diseases, not just symptoms. Moving to the US from another country 19 years ago wasn’t an easy challenge. Being a single parent, I had to manage internships, take classes through Western Carolina University, and raise a son.
Through the years, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the brightest minds in my functional medicine and natural health. I developed a streamlined approach to help people strengthen their bodies and walk them through the maze of identifying their individual triggers.
I’ve had a tremendous amount of success in helping and guiding patients and clients to improve health, reduce symptoms, and in some cases, eliminate the need for medications. Wherever you are on your journey, I want you to know that things can get better, and you will get better as long as you commit to making changes in your own health and making changes in your life.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The most struggle was being a single parent with a full-time job, school, and not being able to spend as much time with my son as I wanted to.
