Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Vasser.

Hi Angela, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey In the hair industry Began in April of 1998 when I graduated cosmetology from a vocational program while in high school. Although the program taught fundamentals, it introduced me to my passion for creating and realizing I could make people feel better about themselves and the freedom to grow my business in the specialty of my choice.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
Not all areas were smooth roads. In the beginning, becoming a stylist at such an early age was challenging mainly because I wasn’t taught the business end of things, only the skillset. With time I gathered great information from seasoned stylists and compiled those things in my mental “apply to the business file.”

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I enjoy creating custom looks through healthy hair. I’m experienced with different hair textures and love creating custom colors and precision cutting! I’m also equipped as an Instructor and provide my clients with useful knowledge that helps them maintain the health and integrity of their hair in between salon visits. I am most proud of the reputation I have worked hard to make for myself and to see what that is and what sets me apart from everyone else, I’d say you’d have to see me, and you’ll find out!

So, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you before we go? How can they support you?
I’m open to as much exposure as possible. I’m new to this area( my family moved here from S. Korea 3 months ago), and I volunteer for meaningful causes because I believe being a hairstylist is a Superpower, as we can make people feel amazing!! Sharing my information would be helpful and offer exposure to my new business in my wonderful new city. I would be open to working with other professionals if interested in events.
