Today we’d like to introduce you to Beth Sink. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Claude & Coy Interiors was a dream that became reality two years ago.
Prior to launching C&C, Beth Sink spent the majority of her career climbing the corporate ladder in residential new home sales, traveling, helping design studio spaces, and quickly becoming the Director of Sales for the fastest-growing builder in the U.S. In 2018, she decided to make a change – to slow down and follow her heart.
In 2021, Beth added another designer to the C&C team – Morgan Hood. Beth and Morgan became friends when their two boys started playing together. They ended up attending the same preschool and are still strong friends. After developing her own fabric line on the side and obsessing over all things interiors for years, Morgan finally decided to pursue her passion and relinquish her Director of Marketing position at a local packaging distribution company, joining forces with Beth to bring C&C to new heights.
Our style is a combination of traditional and modern. We love to mix textural elements, play on patterns, and work with unexpected colors to create a timeless, versatile home. With families of our own, we know what it takes to make your house a home… that special place where your kids make memories and you look forward to coming home at the end of every long day. Our interiors are approachable, colorful, happy, comfortable, and, most of all, lovable.
Designing a home begins with the heart!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It started off smoothly with a large design project in Southern Virginia then Covid hit. I decided I had to change with Covid times and started offering E-design. With people home and actually living in their spaces, this took off and I was able to sustain and actually grow the business during Covid.
As you know, we’re big fans of Claude and Coy Interiors. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
As a single mom, I understand the desire to have a beautiful, well-loved home with the reality of life with a toddler! Ha! In fact, Claudia is my first name and Coy is my son’s first name, hence Claude and Coy.
Claude and Coy Interiors has always been family oriented, whether it’s space planning or performance fabrics to sustain an active family. We take that approach first because it’s the most important!
We recently had the pleasure of working with The Green Chair project in Raleigh. We are so honored to have been a part of that. Also, being featured in the Triad Scout Guide Vol. 8 has proven to be pivotal for us.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Fail, fail and fail again… but in my own house!
