Today, we’d like to introduce you to Diamone Ricketts. Diamone was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Diamone Ricketts.
Diamone, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
It started off in just being in high school. I always had trouble fitting and I had a lot of times where I was bullied. I even remember just being singled out sometimes ,where I was only student who always was struggling in the class. Most my school years even with some professors will give me straight out f ,when they didn’t want to deal with me. so during that time it was all about trying to find where I fit in along with every talent I had with my disability. Everything that I developed and after college, was a whole maze into learning who I am. I remember shedding tears. it was like that acceptance feeling that wasn’t there around people. I remember so much in college where I had just made up my mind that said “this is not where you belong”in other words just living the regular life. It was something deep down about me that said you are the one and you belong in the famous success section, because there was something more than just Fame that was in me.
I had work study when I was in college and however after college and I explored ways where my niche would fit in. So for example it just kept coming at me about these clubs and organizations then learning about the music building where they had these piano rooms.
Playing by ear was already a skill that developed .So when I discovered the piano room on campus I would use that time and I just would free play my emotions out ,for more than 3 hours. I wasn’t even paying attention. I just kept playing and it was always be nightfall by time I was done.
I just kept doing a Non-Stop when I was on campus and just knowing that I was playing for that long told me that that was my niche. After I graduated I kept going and started creating instrumental tracks , use my phone to just Google platforms that can just publish my music on various digital platforms. After that I just started googling and doing bold crazy moves from my phone to the computer as a way to put me closer to becoming well known/ famous. I just started variating and investing my creativity in multiple projects because, I still want to have a backup plan for big income , and when I am My own Boss. I tried investing my skills with quick jobs and they didn’t accept it .Now I have to do things to support my disability and make sure I’m living life well.
Please talk to us about your music.

Additionally I have a children’s book that is available on Amazon called “it’s a Roxies Ruff World” . both hard copy and Kindle version. Most of my creative careers thus far is about supporting myself as disability individual and promoting advocacy about brain injury awareness. Most people been seeing disability individuals as puppets but at the same time, I showcase talents to provide visibility to disability awareness and deliver a message in saying that disability individuals can make their dreams come true.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Diamone Ricketts and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Diamone.
Diamoneanae is authentic and what she’s implementing through her creativity. She’s trying to create an opportunity for herself that most jobs didn’t give to her and try to flip it into success. Throughout the years she has been working hard even through poverty just to publicize her platform and promoting disability at the same time. I advise people to help support the movement that is young entrepreneur is doing by visiting her website dynastytunesglobal.com, and support the movement. As of this month it is traumatic brain entry awareness and we need to make others aware about people just like her.
