Hi Cara, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
Blood, Sweat, And Polish.
It took a lot of faith in myself where I’m at today. I constantly battled with the thought “Am I good enough?”
But time and time again, the universe shown me that I am strutting the right path. Several times, I’ve taken mental health breaks and I woke up to messages cheering me on. I’ve been locked out of my main business platform and still had orders coming through!
If there is a will, there is a way.
Please tell us more about your brand, Tiger Claw Nailz
Tiger Claw Nailz was created with three primary thoughts in mind: Creative and unique nails that are easily accessible A Personable and fun experience Helping people express themselves and feel confident I take pride in my customer service skills- I’ve definitely made mistakes but never without trying to rectify! I really put in effort to make sure clients are comfortable before and during the service. In these times it can be very intimidating trying an independent cosmetic service provider for newbies! So I create an inviting space and match with welcoming energy for all of my claw starz. The southern belle in me wouldn’t feel right if people aren’t comfortable!
Dweeb Kil. has been a great friend to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Dweeb and your experience with them.
It was actually in-person when I met Dweeb Kil for the first time. Which is quite refreshing especially for my generation. I was eating enchiladas on my lunch break when I saw him with a friend. His lunch date looked so familiar to me- I couldn’t help but to pullup the Instagram of whom I thought her to be. And I was correct! To my surprise, she invited me over to their table and we exchanged contact info. Fast-Forward a few months, I was imploring who I knew that was gifted at graphic design. A lightbulb went off in my head “HOLD UP” -I pulled up Dweeb Kil’s profile and I knew he was the person for the job.
What I think makes our relationship work so well, is partly because our brand styles naturally pair quite nicely together (grunge, edgy, and fun). I really appreciate that I can just give him the basics for a project, and he can mesh both of our aesthetics perfectly. Not only that, he is such a treat to work with in general. Every element of his creations are placed with definite purpose (not too much, not too little)!. His design notations are almost poetic- he really puts his foot into his work.
I know Dweeb Kil will definitely go far in his career with his wonderful attitude, kind spirit and well-curated goods.
As for myself? I’m strongly considering to start my other creative interests such as creative direction and production design. I’m striving to have my own creative studio that would be an umbrella for all of my endeavors!
