Exploring Life & Business with Marty Wildman of Stunt Nations

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marty Wildman.

Hi Marty, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
The idea for stunt nations started while working on a little Canadian tv show called North of 60. Both Nathaniel Arcand and I decided we wanted to help others get into the business.

Then both of us worked together on a show called Outlander in Scotland and brought the idea to life

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Lots of pushback as we are a 100 percent first nations owned. Many other who claimed to help first nations but are not first nations themselves

We offer a culturally appropriate workshop

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Stunt Nations?
We offer workshops to help first nations people get into film work. Not just through stunts and horse work but also the chance to see what happens behind the scenes as well

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Nathaniel Arcand is an actor with an incredible resume Marty Wildman is also an actor/ stuntman who specializes in horses
