Hidden Gems: Meet Braxton Bowser of Agape International Church

Today we’d like to introduce you to Braxton Bowser. 

Hi Braxton, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I was born in Wilson, NC. My father was a pastor, and my mother worked in banking! I began ministry at the age of 18, and in 2005 I, along with my wife, started the Agape International Church in Knightdale, NC. My purpose has always been to show and share the love of God using my time, talent, and resources. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’ve had my share of challenges with the loss of my father when he was only 58 years old. Building a ministry that helps people has been difficult; however, the reward is the work.

Agape in a God-centered ministry that expresses His love through worship and philanthropic acts. 

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was a happy loving child who enjoyed playing, singing, and being creative.
