Today we’d like to introduce you to Lance Wiggins.
Hi Lance, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started doing Music In 2014, and once I graduated high school, I had a passion for Music even since high school; once I was out, I Touched up with a few radio companies and currently had my music played in Canada and had a few spins by hits Toronto 93. Also, after radio play stopped, I had Justin Bieber follow me on Twitter and his family and other individuals that’s in the industry. I was writing music since school as a songwriter in 2013-2014.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The biggest struggles I had along the way is that I was homeless, I didn’t have anywhere to stay for 5 years, and couldn’t get money or support I needed, so I started music to find my Nitch; I was writing music while on the streets, also with my mom From Tarboro NC out my life for 20 years not knowing other parts of my family.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I write music, I also sing and rap, and a model; I went to modeling and acting school for a year and got my $1,000 scholarship which paid off, I a social media influencer and Music artist, I’m known for radio plays in Canada and collaboration with radio stations, and I worked with Soulja boy DJ, DJ ransom dollars, I’m proud that I was able to push my work to people that really wanna hear it, I’m proud of my engagement I build on my platforms so far and notability. What sets me apart from others is my music is different and unique more of a spiritual way.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
I learned that no matter where you at or where you land at in life never give up on your passion or talent, never be afraid to show the world what you are about, and always find something unique others never thought about; use skills and keep practicing no matter how many mistakes you made in your path.
