Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison Johnson.

Allison Johnson

Hi Allison, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
When I was a little girl, I was abused. When I moved with my dad, it was a chance of liberation for me. When I was injured lamentably back in my childhood, I soon ascertained that I had epilepsy. As deplorable as the years were, I soon found my exit. I commenced modeling. Modeling became my incipient way of relinquishing my emotions, I fell in love with photography. I then took my vocation a step further by joining the epilepsy substratum and becoming a member of an astounding agency.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My battles incorporate living with a single father, being taken away from my mother, and living with epilepsy. When I was just 12 years old, I was taken away from my mother due to abuse and disregard. Not only was it difficult being physically taken away from my mother, but it was moreover troublesome considering I would be tricked into her control. Even at twelve, I understood right and off-base. I finally spoke out against my mom’s abuse to specialists and was taken domestic into security. That’s not where it closes though, tragically. My mom’s abuse caused my diagnosis of Epilepsy. Developing up with Epilepsy was humiliating and disappointing, taking under consideration I wasn’t born with the disorder. Kicking the medics since you’re prettified, rescue vehicle after emergency vehicle, and waking up in an unfamiliar place are all things a twelve-year-old shouldn’t go through. As the years went by, with offer assistance from my sister and father, I became stronger every day. My father has continuously consoled me that I can do anything I set my intellect to. Which is why I presented myself into the fashion industry. As a little girl, I continuously observed shows and design occasions on tv. I appreciated their certainty and ability and wanted to pursue a modeling career myself. With a solid support group, and great work ethic, I at last found myself in an organization. I’ve utilized modeling to grasp my certainty and what I cherish to do.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I have been modeling for three years. I have worked with numerous brilliant individuals within the beauty industry. I am certainly most proud of the time I walked my first runway. I was so anxious but so excited. After my first show, I started becoming more intimate with modeling. I put all of my free time into it. Practicing poses in the mirror, putting on tall heels and strutting around my house, and continually attempting to think of new ideas are all things I came across. Pretty soon I was brought to a new thought, which was helping other people strive as well. I joined the Epilepsy Foundation. My primary objective was to help those with epilepsy discover their certainty. I started holding fundraisers, walking for Epilepsy, and taking any chance I could as a high school student to assist those suffering…

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory was when me and my father went to the bounce house park after school. When I couldn’t effectively do the obstacle courses at the park, he would tell me to keep attempting. We would continuously get cherry and apple snow cones after he had watched me fail time and time once more with the obstacles. My father and I always have had an extraordinary connection. He has always been my best companion. Another astounding memory I have was when we would go to our neighborhood river and share a picnic. Playing, eating, swimming with him as a little girl are all recollections I wish I could relive.
