Foreign Plug NGB Skully

Foreign and NGB, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hello, I’m Foreign Plug; I’m a 26-year-old female music artist from Rochester, NY. I currently live in Rockingham, NC. I have always loved music since I was a child. My father always played dancehall music during my childhood due to him being from Guyana. I danced, I cheered, and I wrote. I started writing poetry, stories, and books, which led me to doing music. I always vouched to shed light on the first artist to put me in a studio, and that was “Infa Dasafendi.” He booked a session, called me up, and after that, the rest was history. I took a break but came back strong. I also connected with music artist & Engineer “Lou Marley” who got me connected to music artist “Deamor Carolina from Greenville, NC. She was the first female artist to embrace me in the Carolinas with me moving from NY and got me connected with networking. I currently have my own team/label of artists who I work with. Pmi The Label, also known as Plug Me In The Label, currently houses 4 artists. Uno Way & CFN Young A from South Carolina, BigCity Jones from Rochester, NY, and myself. With my team, we have dedicated everything to being creatives in this music world and realm. I also tapped more into my creative side growing up to the point I now have my own clothing line. Foreign Plug, my name actually started as my clothing line name which came from me seeing my father being deported. I created soccer jerseys dedicated to different countries to help donate to families who struggle after having deported family members similar to how I grew up. I actually now have expanded my clothing business with my boyfriend & business partner Tyheem McDonald. He has now launched Humble Nation Clothing Line. Both websites can be seen below.
