Today we’d like to introduce you to Mandy Steinhardt.
Hi Mandy, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I started coaching 6 years ago while between jobs as a volunteer for Dress for Success. It was a much better fit than previous volunteer opportunities, like clumsily trying to help build houses! I have worked at large and small companies and have been laid off a few times over the years, including while I was pregnant. I realized I could use all the skills I learned about interviewing and resume writing to help others. I find it really rewarding helping women hone in on their goals and gain confidence in their path. In 2020, I received my coaching training at the Raleigh Coaching Academy.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Despite being raised by a single mom, I have had many opportunities to apply myself and get my education. While I haven’t struggled with opportunities to raise myself up, I have struggled with anxiety and depression during different times in my life, including post-partum. I became an expert in self-help and creating one’s own path to spiritual development through my own readings and studies. I love sharing what I have learned and the most effective resources with my readers and clients.
I learned about the healing power of women’s circles while I participated in one during extremely difficult period of my life. The circle I was a member of helped me heal and recover from my mother’s death, the pandemic, and other challenging times in my life. I want to bring safe spaces for healing and learning to other women.

I provide women’s coaching focused on career and authenticity. I help women stuck in their “good girl” roles escape their midlife blahs and figure out what they really want and need through the loving support and coaching of a community of women. What sets me apart is my dedication and experience in combining ways to increase your independence and confidence while increasing your income at the same time. I also believe in the healing power of women’s spirituality and in the importance of creating our own rituals and self-care habits that work uniquely for each individual.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
The easiest way to find a mentor is to be curious and be yourself. Allow yourself to reach out and meet interesting people in the industries or areas that you are passionate about. Seek them out! They will be inspired by your energy and will be interested in engaging with you. Don’t force it, but ask great questions which help you learn and help them feel admired.
