Meet Carolina Solis

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolina Solis.

Hi Carolina, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story? 
I used to work as a waitress in a hotel in the mornings; this hotel is near the airport. There were people from all over the world every day and one day I met a couple who came from Spain and they asked me what else I did apart from working in the restaurant; I told them that in the mornings I worked as a waitress and that the rest of the day I spent with my family and I take some online courses since I really like learning about social networks and technology, they told me a little about their lives that apart from working at their job that required traveling and being at conferences for the most part. At that time, they had a YouTube channel in case something happened to their work, so they would have another source of income at the moment they were not earning much, but, in the future, it would be more. From there came the idea to start publishing on YouTube in October 2017 with the channel called Dyanagirlworld. 

It was not until September 2022 that I left the restaurant to fully dedicate myself to being a creator/influencer. 

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a very long and very difficult road since being an influencer/creator is not an easy job. It requires a lot of dedication, help, and, above all, patience, and it is even more difficult when there are children involved in the content since they get tired very quickly. And they have school. One of my greatest supporters has been my oldest daughter since after a long day of school, she is sometimes tired and has a lot of homework, but she still helps me take the videos or photos, even when she is not feeling well because she has a cold. Or she simply doesn’t feel like talking in front of the camera because she is tired; even so, she is always there to help me, now not only my eldest daughter is also my youngest daughter and sometimes my partner. 

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a full-time influencer/creator; as a creator, I create content that promotes the products and services of different companies, such as articles, videos, blogs, images, and social media posts to publish on digital platforms such as websites, social networks, and more.

My audience knows me as a lifestyle creator passionate about sharing the best in fashion, toys, food, travel, and more every day. 

I am very proud of myself and my family because this is not an easy job. 

I think the only difference that sets me apart from others is my way of working since each creator has a different way of working and a special touch. 

I believe that my extensive experience working with different brands addresses unexpected challenges, 

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Yes, I believe in God; he is always here to help me; plus, reading books is the best way to learn and keep my brain active every day. I think my best resource so far has been my iMac, iPhone, and Adobe.
