Hi Coree, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I am a veteran, and former teacher turned entrepreneur! Following my heart’s passion with the love of people and bringing dreams to reality with my planning style and decor. My Name is Coree Forte, and I am the proud owner of Core Creations. I am an event planner located in Greensboro, NC.
I am a young lady who is completely in love with love. I love to binge-watch Romantic Comedies while snuggled under a warm blanket. I fell in love with my profession during a snowy white Christmas season while witnessing a beautiful proposal. It was then I knew that I would be embarking on not just a journey of assisting with their wedding planning but on a passion for a new career. During the planning period with the newly engaged couple, outsiders begin to encourage me to do this full-time. I doubted myself for years until starting my own business in Wedding Planning and Floral Design.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Balancing life and following my heart’s passion has been a challenge because there is no guidebook on how this should go. This is definitely not a journey for everyone; there are many sleepless nights stressful conversations mastering how to set boundaries and adhere to them! Growing and maturing in business is never comfortable, but it is worthwhile knowing that you are soaring in your own lane!

Core Creations is an event planning and design company that specializes in the executions of our client’s vision. We were built on the foundation of putting our client’s satisfaction as our top priority when planning their event. Our company thrives on transforming event spaces with our floral designs and event decor. We know that we are a unique branded company because we live off of being totally “client-driven” while upholding high company standards.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up with a firm foundation of doing what truly makes me happy and finding what I am most passionate about has given me the most satisfaction.
