Hi Carla, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself. 
Wife, boy mom, and a lover of Jesus. It took me 35 years for me to find my purpose on earth and what Christ needed from me. I work at Arkansas State Police, and I am a Baker. Through my baking business, Batter Up, God uses me to donate my time and profit of my baking. I have a servant heart, and I have passion for serving. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Life is hard. I have struggled with many things in life like everyone else! When I fall or don’t have it together, I pick myself up, dust myself off, put my head up and shoulders back, because I am a child of God. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am honored to work at Arkansas State Police. Being apart and contributing to something bigger than me is something I am very proud of. I have been in law enforcement now for 14 years. My sister has guided me and helped me get involved. She got me my first job in records at our local agency, Jonesboro Police Department. I absolutely love my job and the people I work with; I truly do. I come in to work every morning and my boss is reading his Bible and that helps me to stay focused as well. I am also a full-time baker. It started out as a fundraiser to raise money for my kiddos to go to church camp. It exploded, and now I serve my community with fresh-baked products!!! It has been a blessing to me and my family! 

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you, and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Yes, our government sucks, and I want nothing to do with them. It is a reminder that God is in control, and my faith ensures me that everything WILL be just fine.
