Check Out angell Troxler’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angell Troxler.

Hi Angell, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my creative journey as a hobby. I was encouraged, while on a trip in Europe with friends, to start a blog. I was hesitant, but I did it. A few years later, I decided to go all-in and graduated to a “big girl” site and www.lifeofanangell.com was born. After a couple of years of working with local photographers, I took the leap of buying my own camera and creating Morningstarr pix. I wanted more creativity with my images. During quarantine, I experimented with homemade backdrops and self-portrait photography. Since then, I have branched into product photography and portrait photography. I am extremely happy how all my passions have come together so beautifully.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It most certainly has not been a smooth road. When I decided to level up my blog and switch to a self-hosted site it took weeks of back and forth with IT guys and lots of tears from fear of losing my original pieces on my old site. Photography has been a little of both. Learning to take my own pictures, especially in the beginning, was a great source of frustration. I’m spatially challenged so my brain was often confused about moving to get the right shot. Shooting others has been a dream. That comes easily to me because of my vision and my ability to get the best out of people.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a writer and a photographer. I specialize in self-portraits and portrait photography. I am probably most known for my creative visions. I often take regular items and turn them into art.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Don’t question your gifts. If it is on your heart, it’s a sign you need to explore it.
