Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Pirhalla.
Hi Ashley, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I didn’t take a traditional path into real estate, but looking back, every step led me here.
My background is rooted in community and service. Before real estate, I spent years involved in local schools, education-based nonprofits, and volunteering in ways that helped families feel more connected and supported. I’ve always loved being the go-to person — whether someone needed help navigating school choices, settling into a new neighborhood, or finding the best local coffee spot.
When I realized how often conversations with friends and neighbors led to real estate questions — from “Should we sell now?” to “What’s it like living in this school district?” — I saw an opportunity to combine my strengths: deep local knowledge, a passion for helping people, and a love for houses (especially a good floor plan and a killer kitchen island).
That’s when I made the leap into real estate.
Since then, I’ve built my business around concierge-level service. The kind of hands-on, high-touch guidance that clients need when buying, selling, or doing both at the same time. I work primarily in the Triangle area, Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, Fuquay, and Raleigh, and I specialize in helping busy families find homes that truly fit their lives. I treat every client like a friend, because that’s how I’d want to be treated during one of the biggest decisions of my life.
Today, I’m there for my clients every step of the way — from opening the door at the first showing to handing over the keys on closing day, and every little decision in between. It’s not just about selling houses. It’s about helping people love where they live.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Real estate is one of those careers that looks easy from the outside, but behind the scenes, it’s long hours, constant learning, and a whole lot of emotional investment.
When I first started, I had to build everything from the ground up: my brand, my systems, and my client base. I didn’t come in with a big referral network or a background in sales. I had to prove myself one client at a time. That meant saying yes to everything, learning how to market myself, and staying up late to figure out contracts and negotiations while still being a present mom and active community volunteer.
There were seasons where deals fell through, clients disappeared, or I questioned whether I could really make this work long-term. And of course, the market has changed a lot over the past few years. Navigating shifting inventory, pricing pressures, and changing client expectations has been a constant adjustment.
But every challenge taught me something. It pushed me to get creative, stay consistent, and lean even harder into my business. Those early struggles shaped how I show up today. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed or unsure, and that’s exactly why I work so hard to take the stress off my clients’ shoulders.
Real estate isn’t easy, but for me, it’s personal. And that’s what keeps me going.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a residential Realtor based in the Triangle, and I help people navigate the buying and selling process with confidence, clarity, and a sense of calm, even when things get complicated. I specialize in working with families who are making big transitions, whether they’re selling their current home and buying their next one at the same time, relocating to the area, or just needing a bit more space for their next chapter.
I’m known for my concierge-level service, deep local knowledge, and hands-on support from the very beginning to well beyond closing day. I don’t just unlock doors and hand over keys. I help my clients make informed decisions, keep the process organized and low stress, and advocate for them at every step. Whether it’s scheduling contractors, breaking down timelines, or texting a reminder to book the moving truck, I treat each transaction like it’s my own.
I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built. My clients become friends and repeat clients, and they know I’m someone they can trust, not just during the transaction, but anytime they need a recommendation, a market update, or a go-to person in the area.
What sets me apart is that I’m not just selling homes. I’m helping people plant roots, get settled, and love where they live. I show up fully, every time, with a blend of professionalism, personal connection, and a little bit of fun. Because let’s be honest, house hunting should be exciting, not overwhelming.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I was born and raised right here in North Carolina, I’m proudly left-handed, and I can spot a crooked picture frame from across the room. Most people see the polished, put-together side of me, but I’m also the one dancing in the kitchen, running late with a Starbucks in hand, and juggling real estate chaos with a smile.
