Today we’d like to introduce you to Gabrielle White.
Hi Gabrielle, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I got started on social media very unexpectedly. I have loved sharing my life like a journal on Instagram since 2013. I was fired from my job at a church 4 years ago this month and after that my life took a drastic turn. I started contracting for two business owners in Charlotte, and I fell in love with the world of content creation and entrepreneurship. I rediscovered myself as a creative that was multifaceted. Alongside of that, my relationship with God became stronger than it had ever been before. I originally started sharing content on TikTok that was very me-centered and I knew God was pushing me in a different direction. A year and a half ago, I finally committed to posting helpful, encouraging, and vulnerable Christian content. I am extremely thankful for the community of women who have joined me and who inspire me everyday through their own stories of transformation.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. I have experienced push back many times from people in my own life who didn’t understand my path or didn’t approve of what I was doing. I have had to keep fighting and pushing to stay faithful. I have experienced emotional, relational, and financial hardship along the way.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a content creator who is passionate about sharing the Gospel in real, relatable ways. My heart is to help people feel seen, known, and drawn closer to Jesus in the middle of their everyday lives. I create videos that combine teaching, storytelling, and honesty about faith, struggles, healing, and identity in Christ. Whether I’m talking about what God is teaching me, encouraging someone through a testimony, or simply creating space for vulnerable conversation, my goal is to always point people back to the heart of Jesus.
I think what sets me apart is my authenticity. I’m not afraid to talk about the hard or messy parts of following Jesus – doubt, waiting, sin, healing, surrender. I believe that vulnerability breeds connection, and connection creates room for transformation. People often tell me that they feel like they’re having a heart-to-heart with a friend when they watch my videos, and that’s honestly the highest compliment to me.
I’m most proud of how God continues to use my voice – even when I felt like I had lost it. There was a season when I stepped away from ministry completely, and I thought I had disqualified myself from being used again. But God gently led me back, reshaped my calling, and now I get to minister to people I may never meet in person, simply by showing up online and being faithful with what He’s given me. The amount of conversations I’ve had with people struggling with the same experiences is extremely humbling.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I definitely am a risk taker. I push the envelope and say the hard truths. I believe we HAVE to take a risk and put ourselves out there. I wasted so much time holding myself back and worrying about what other people thought of me. Any risk taken from a heart-felt place, is worth it.
