Check Out Jessika Hinds’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessika Hinds.

Hi Jessika, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My adult life started early when I had my oldest child during my Senior Year in college at 21 years old. I lost a great opportunity interning at Disney.

During that time, I did not allow losing my internship to stop me. I had dreams of owning my own tech company (more like a Kinkos back in the day). I drove weekly with my baby in my car 45 mins to college to make sure I completed my degree. I worked multiple jobs (not in my field). Then I went back to school after taking two years off for my Master’s in Educational Technology. From there, I worked on my business plan and birthed Jessie’s Consulting.

That’s not all. A year ago, I birthed itsjessolivia (my blog). I always shared my stories with other moms. I found myself being a light to others and what better way to reach more moms by sharing my own direct experience. This has been an amazing experience. I still work full time as an educator, work from home mom, blogger and influencer on Instagram. My following is not large but I’m happy to reach those I’m genuinely connected with. Being able to be myself and share authentic first-hand experience from being a young mom, beating the odds, owning your own businesses and more is important to me.

As women and moms, we take on so much and I’m the one to let you know it’s okay to cry, this and that will happen. And it’s okay, why?! Because it’s life.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being a blogger or influencer is not a smooth road at all. I originally started blogging in 2018 but I wasn’t dedicated. I picked back up in Jan 2020.

Struggles-self procrastination, dedication, time, research.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a Blogger/Social Media Influencer. I’m also a business owner of Jessies Consulting, and I have real estate.

Being a blogger there’s multiple niches. What sets me apart, I focus on motherhood and lifestyle. I have authentic followers that’s there for me and my family. They choose to follow me! Again, I specialize in sharing my personal experience with others. When I travel, I share places and items on my page. A lot of people don’t know this, but I purchased them. When I receive a “gifted” item, I’ll only share what I use and genuinely like. You don’t get that a lot from everyone.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come. To influencers, I’m considered a Nano-Influencer and I’m perfectly fine with that. I’m new to this and I know it takes time to be established. I’m proud of my husband for sticking with me through all my aspirations and stories I share. I’m blessed that he agree with sharing our family to the world.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
If anyone wants to work with me or collaborate with me, they can simply follow me on Instagram at itsjessoliva. They can email me at jessika@itsjessolivia.com.

We can work together for anything mom life, marriage life, families, photography, anything that aligns with my family values.

Supporting me for sure will be to follow me on Instagram 😀
