Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Anthony. Them and their team share their story with us below:
The Cavali Group was established off of 16 years in Nightlife and Entertainment. Founders Christopher Anthony of Rocky Mount NC, Andrew Covington of Raleigh NC, and Juan Cosme Fayetteville NC came together for one identified purpose. We understood very early that the power of building brands within brands would be the key and strength to our success.
The Cavali Group is the foundation of our promotional brand. A promotional brand that we couldn’t foresee being the outlet and extension to brands we hold today. Cavali Group was started in Greensboro, NC where we focused on creating brand identity throughout the triad. Building awareness through creating exclusive event concepts and hosting some of the biggest celebrity parties. Our focus is to attract all walks of life to create an atmosphere and energy that is unmatched. Take pride in knowing what it takes to make a party pop, from the people that fill the room; to the DJ playing all the right songs at the right time.
It was through our success and our specific style to how we curated our events we created our lifestyle brand “Vali Lifestyle”. Vali Lifestyle is not only an open look to behind the scenes of our day-to-day but services through our concierge. From exotic cars, mansions, or booking tables at the most desired night spots. Vali Lifestyle ensures it’s only one way you’ll be treated, and that’s the “Vali Way”.
Within the last three years, we have taken on the challenge of being the best in concert/tour promotions. Back in 2017, we signed a partnership deal with Creative Nation. Creative Nation, an independent concert promotional company. CreativeNation has been establishing dominance in major national tours throughout the East Coast. With our partnership acquiring the buying power of Creative Nation as one of our extended brands was the result of a perfect merge. We’ve had the opportunity to have multi dates for national tours for artists such as Rod Wave, Moneybagg Yo, Polo G, Her, SZA, Gherbo, Aboogie, 42 dugg, Gunna, Kodak Black, and so many more! We have been claiming markets throughout the east coast ranging from Rochester NY to Charlotte NC.
The excitement of seeing where we started and knowing where we’re headed builds energy that can’t be explained. We thank everyone who has supported us up to this point and hope to continue sharing our journey. As well as continue to build and generate brand awareness across all our platforms current and future.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There’s a struggle in every journey. Even through struggle we never felt out of control of any outcome. When it came to creating events we didn’t face many struggles outside of generating at times creative energy. Then the struggle became the duplicating of a style that was tailored made for us by us by others who would mislead or confuse the public on what true quality was.
The most difficult struggles for sure came from the world of concert promotion. Although we had years of experience in Nightlife this process is something completely different. Our reach in the audience was something we had to understand and learn how to acquire. With consistency, a strong team, and a focused goal we are on track. The pandemic has definitely caused speed bumps slowing down our motion but we are blessed that it hasn’t stopped it. Through these challenging times, we take more of the preparation for the worst tactic so that if it happens muscle memory kicks into our reaction.
If everything goes as planned then the only issue is the issue of being over-prepared, which we would take any day. We’ve had to reschedule a few shows as well as cancel a few due to Covid mandates held by certain venues. We understand the importance of everyone’s safety and health. When these challenges present themselves, we make the best decision available for the time and move forward. All in all, we embrace the struggle and just account for it being a better story to tell in our journey of life.
