Community Highlights: Meet Sarai Flores of Indefashion

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarai Flores.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
With the loss of my only son, my world fell apart.

My life changed forever and I had to make a decision for me, my first daughter, and my family, because I didn’t want to feel guilty and depressed after his dead forever, I know that he wouldn’t like to see me that way, he would have wanted me to move on. It’s hard and I’m gonna miss him every day, but I had to move on.

And I DID. A couple of months later after his death and during my grieving, I received beautiful news that I was expecting my rainbow baby Lía Victoria.

After she was born, I decided to continue with the journey I started a couple of years ago in PR, where I was selling fine jewelry, but this time I decided to do jewelry from scratch to share my story and the story of others.

I have a rainbow baby collection, a mom collection, and others. I want to share my story with hundred and hundred of women to let them know that we can achieve everything we want in life, we can change pain for joy.

Now we are RV living traveling around the country to enjoy and explore this wonderful life.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When business owners decide to undertake a journey we need to know and understand we are going to have a lot of phases and emotional rollercoasters. We think we are going to have a successful business from the beginning and it’s not like that.

This year is gonna be my third year doing what I love. And honestly the first year and a half I was struggling to make sales, I had 70 or 150 sales in that year in total. I almost drop the towel (Tirar La Toalla) as we say in PR but I continue without giving up, being consistent and persevering with what I want in my life.

Now, I make more than 35 sales every week because God and my consistency paid the price.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Indefashion?
I am a jewelry designer, I specialize in Polymer Clay, Fine Jewelry, and Resin.

I’m someone who thinks that this world it’s created for everyone who wants to grow and shine, not for a competition to see who’s the best, for me the best competition is me, myself, and I.

I am so proud of who I’ve become, I’m a strong and capable woman, I can create and do everything I say to myself that I can do. I continue learning and practicing to bring the best to my clients and future clients.

I design and create earrings, charms, bracelets, necklaces,  and cutters for makers’/custom orders.

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Everything in life has their risk.

We always think that we need to be prepared to start a business or to create something that we love, like a goal, a new job, or something personal.

We are never gonna be fully prepared to start your business or those things in life that you are waiting to achieve or saying you are not prepared for that thing specifically yet.

That’s completely FALSE! We need to take risks when it’s come for something that we know is gonna be a success even if you know you have to work really hard to make those dreams come true, in the end, it’s gonna be worth it.

Work hard, take those risks and be consistent to achieve your goals because if we don’t take risks we are always gonna be waiting for the perfect moment to start that business, that new job, that travel, that adventure, that family, that house, etc.

If I wouldn’t take those risks, I wouldn’t have Indefashion right now.
