At 37 years old, Jazmin is a single mother of three, hailing from the vibrant city of Greenville, North Carolina, but currently calling Raleigh, NC, her home. Jazmin started professionally in the beauty industry since 2015. Jazmin moved to Raleigh 4 years ago seeking out better opportunities and expansion for her career.

Professionally, Jazmin shines as a skilled cosmetologist, where her talent and creativity know no bounds. Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. At the time when I was building my clientele in Raleigh I was also still working in Greenville. I had a set schedule of 3 days in Raleigh and 2 days in Greenville working. Some days I wouldn’t have any clients booked in Raleigh but I still had to show up on my designated day with the hopes of catching a walk in client. I didn’t give up and remained consistent.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a licensed cosmetologist. I specialize in microlinks, customize wigs, sewins and hair products. I’m most known for my wigs and sewins. I’m proud that I was able to move from my city to a new city and build a name for myself by being myself and being a dependable hairstylist. My clients love me for my expertise and my down to earth and relatable personality and that’s what sets me apart from the rest.
