Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Houck.

Sarah , we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Real estate has always been something that peaked my interest. Shortly after moving to the Raleigh area I had the opportunity to get my real estate license and decided to take the leap. Building your brand and putting yourself out there as a new agent is no easy feat. But I was persistent and adamant about making good connections. I have been incredibly fortunate in my career to have had the opportunity to work with some of the best. Not only have I had some amazing clients, but I’ve also been able to work with some incredible agents and builders who have mentored, shaped and helped me become the agent I am today. I’m passionate about establishing relationships. I truly try to continue those relationships with all of my clients. Today, I’m a top producing agent in the Raleigh area. My success is 100% due to the amazing clients I have and those who trust in me every day! Always thankful.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Working in real estate comes with plenty of challenges. Starting a new career in a city where you have no pre-existing connections, family or sphere of contacts can be challenging when you’re newly self-employed. I very quickly had to learn to put myself out there and jump into new situations! A huge part of navigating that was being able to network with incredible peers and find support with other vendors and like minded people!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Real Estate Broker and Realtor. I specialize in residential real estate services and serve all areas of the Triangle, surrounding counties, and the Coast. I work with an array of clients including sellers, buyers and investors. I am an investor myself, so I very much enjoy working with clients to expand their portfolios! I am incredibly blessed to say my business has been entirely referral based. Being able to help my clients, friends and family pursue their real estate dreams and goals is something that will always be incredibly rewarding for me! I have also been fortunate enough to be a 4 time ICON awarded agent with my firm and a top producer in the state of North Carolina.

How do you define success?
Success for me is seeing families fulfill the dream of home ownership and getting each client to the finish line. Real estate isn’t just showing pretty houses. An incredible amount of work goes into each transaction. Every client and situation is different. So being able to navigate each one, working for the best outcome for each individual person and family and getting them to the closing table is exactly what I aim to do each and every day! Above that, loving what I do and being able to do it every day is the ultimate success in my book!
