Today we’d like to introduce you to Stefanie & Rachael Hansen. Them and their team share their story with us below:
Crazy Glaze is a multigenerational small business. Janice purchased the studio in 2014 based on her love for ceramics dating back to the 1970s. Stefanie now runs the business portion of the studio while Rachael focuses on the creative side.
As a studio, we love to see the multigenerational aspect in our customers as they create with their families.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Crazy Glaze has faced some struggles over time including the COVID-19 Pandemic but we have always managed to overcome the obstacles.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Crazy Glaze strives to provide you with a fun atmosphere when creating your very own pottery. Additionally, we aim to provide a safe and welcoming space to our customers where everyone feels included. Lastly, we pride ourselves on the inclusivity of our studio.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Owning a small business is always a risk especially when global pandemics hit. However, we do not take many purposeful risks as a company.
